Women of Trinity

Who Are We?
You are a automatically a member of the Women of Trinity (WOT) if you are a woman and attend the church even once.
When Do We Meet?
Currently we are meeting for lunch the 1st Tuesday of the even months (February, etc.) at the Hillview Restaurant at 6135 Transit Rd, Depew, NY. Lunch usually includes a short business meeting to plan upcoming events.
What Do We Do?
We are a group of women whose goal is to support Trinity church in community outreach and parish life. We work together to put the fun in fundraisers. Ten percent of funds raised are tithed to a local charity. The remaining funds are used for parish life and other needs of the church.
Annual fundraisers include: the Snowflake Bazaar, Lenten Soup sale, and Mother’s Day flower basket sale.
Our outreach efforts include an Advent Giving tree, Lenten outreach project, Stamp Out Hunger lunch for Trinity Pantry volunteers, and collecting school supplies for the Lancaster Youth Bureau.
During 2025, WOT held a spring plant sale and sponsored the summer school supply drive, both were huge successes. We’re currently planning the annual Snowflake Bazaar. With the proceeds from the plant sales and bazaar WOT supports improvements to the church, subsidizes our young people attending Church Camp and donates to various charities.
How Do I Get Involved?
Simply join us at our next meeting or ask to be put on our phone list if you would like to help out, by baking for events for example, but cannot get to the meetings. We would love to welcome you to our group! You can also e-mail the church at trinitylancaster1@roadrunner.com to be added to our e-mailing list. Please be sure to include “WOT” in the subject line.
Stitch and Chat
Our stitch and chat group offers an opportunity for some of our members to gather, support one another and engage in needlework, which is often sold at the Snowflake Bazaar in November.
Stitch and chat meets on Tuesdays from 10-12, with a healing Eucharist on the last week of the month.
