Trinity Tidings – March 2023
“No one can please God without faith,
For whoever comes to God must have faith that God exists and rewards those who seek him.”
Hebrews 11:6
March 2023
Fellow Parishioners:
This is an update you about the changes here at Trinity. On February 26 we held a coffee hour in honor of Pastor Ann’s retirement, it was her last Sunday with us. Good-byes are difficult, but new beginnings are exciting. Going forward, Fr. Terry Bull has agreed to be our long-term supply priest while we search for our permanent Priest-In-Charge. Holy Communion and Sunday school will continue Sunday mornings at 9:30 am. The Eucharist will continue to be offered at Stich and Chat on the last Tuesday of the month. This is an important ministry as it provides an opportunity for those who can’t attend Sunday mornings to receive the Eucharist. Fr. Terry will provide the continuity we need in the interim and our spiritual needs should be met. If you are in need of pastoral care please call the church office, the phone is monitored daily. Rev. Jason Shank from the diocesan transition team will guide us through the search process.
Good things continue to happen here at Trinity! A huge thank you to the Food Pantry board. They voted to donate the $1,700 for last month’s boiler repair. Also, a huge thank you to Karen Walczak who is Trinity’s liaison with the food pantry, she attends the Food Pantry board meetings and keeps us up to date.
Housekeeping notes, we are attempting some much-needed updating to records, including our mailing list. If you do not receive an April Newsletter and wish to remain on our mailing list you will need to call or email the church. Thanks for your cooperation.
